The Solar panel's on the top of this side view piece absorbed energy from the sun to power the rechargeable cells. Many different case designs for this super cool watch. Available in Stainless steel/Gold-fill/14k solid gold case and Black case (as shown).
Unfortunately finding a Synchronar from the 70's that will hold a charge will be a difficult task. Many have been opened and fixed to take new cells.
